Russ Berrie Limited Edition Signature Collection Teddy Bear (LE001) - the first in the Limited Edition series called 'Bears from the Past' that first came out in 1995 (retired 1996). 'Brown Bear' is the unofficial name given to this first bear. He is more frequently referred to by his item number 'LE001'. He stands at approximately 19 inches tall, which makes him the smallest bear in the series. He is a fully jointed and poseable, chocolate brown teddy bear made from fine heirloom mohair with brown corduroy paw pads with hand-sewn claws. He wears a brown and cream checkered ribbon bow around his neck. Russ Berrie's signature is printed on a ribbon sewn across his left foot paw pad.
